We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate specified machines accordingly to acceptable safety standards. Make proper pressure adjustments on the machine according to product and order specifications. Fully operate electrical panel of switches for machine. Select and set speed of machine according to type of operation and specified material finish. Start machine to obtain a first-run work piece and verifies dimensional tolerances. Successfully complete Plant Data Collection process using computer system. Responsible for notifying supervisor of any non-conformities that cannot be self-corrected, or if a problem persists. Comply with all company policies and safety regulations.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee may be required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalency. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
